PUBLICATION ETHICS

Jurnal Intensi upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). This statement defines the ethical responsibilities of authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Ethical Principles
All published articles contribute to the integrity and advancement of psychological scholarship and must meet standards of quality, credibility, and ethical conduct.

Author Responsibilities
Authors must submit original, ethical, and unpublished work. They are required to present accurate data, properly cite sources, disclose conflicts of interest, obtain ethical approval and informed consent for human research, assign authorship appropriately, avoid multiple submissions, and promptly report significant errors.

Editorial Responsibilities
Editors make decisions based solely on academic merit and relevance, ensure fair and confidential peer review, avoid conflicts of interest, and act on suspected ethical misconduct.

Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers provide objective, timely, and confidential evaluations, identify relevant uncited work or overlap, decline reviews when unqualified, and avoid misuse of unpublished materials.

Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Similarity ≤20% is acceptable, 20–30% requires revision, and >30% results in rejection. Manuscripts may be rejected regardless of percentage if substantive plagiarism is identified. Appropriate actions include rejection, retraction, or institutional notification.

Conflicts of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest to ensure transparency and trust in the publication process.
