AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Jurnal Intensi publishes original, high-quality scholarly manuscripts in psychology. Authors must comply with the following guidelines; non-compliant submissions may be returned or rejected without review.

1. Scope and Contribution
Manuscripts must align with the journal’s focus and demonstrate a clear research gap, meaningful theoretical and/or practical contribution, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance. Accepted papers include empirical studies, psychometric studies, and theoretical or conceptual papers.

3. Manuscript Preparation
Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia (English preferred); abstract must be in English.
Length: 5,000–8,000 words (research); up to 9,000 words (review).
Format: Word (.doc/.docx), Times Calisto MT 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, 2.5 cm margins, page numbers.

4. Manuscript Structure
Title; Authors and affiliations; Abstract (150–250 words); Keywords (3–5); Introduction; Method; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; References. Sections may be adapted for qualitative studies.

5. Citation and Referencing Style
APA 7th Edition is required. At least 80% of references must be recent peer-reviewed sources (5–10 years), with DOIs included where available.

6. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures must follow APA 7th style, be cited in text, have clear titles, and include permission for reproduced material.

7. Ethical Considerations
Ethical Clearance: Required for studies involving human participants, including approval details and informed consent.
Conflicts of Interest: Must be declared; if none, state “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

8. Plagiarism and Originality
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and must meet the journal’s originality standards.

9. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure Policy
AI tools may be used for limited purposes (e.g., language editing) but must be disclosed. AI cannot be listed as an author, fabricate data, or replace author responsibility. Failure to disclose may breach publication ethics.

10. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s OJS; email submissions are not accepted.

11. Review and Decision
Submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Decisions include Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
