Jurnal Intensi treats all allegations of research misconduct seriously and follows COPE guidelines to protect the integrity of the scholarly record. Research misconduct includes plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, image manipulation, unethical research practices, redundant publication, and authorship misrepresentation. Allegations may be reported at any stage and are handled confidentially and fairly.

Investigation Process

  1. Initial assessment by the editor to determine credibility.

  2. Formal notification to the corresponding author for response and clarification.

  3. Consultation with reviewers, editorial board members, or independent experts if needed.

  4. Contact with affiliated institutions or ethics committees when necessary.

Outcomes and Actions
Possible actions include manuscript rejection, correction, expression of concern, retraction, notification of institutions or funders, and restriction of future submissions. Decisions are based on evidence and author responses.

Author and Reviewer Responsibilities
Authors must cooperate fully during investigations. Editors and reviewers must report suspected misconduct promptly and maintain confidentiality.

Retraction Mechanism
Retractions are issued for serious errors or ethical violations that invalidate findings, in accordance with COPE principles.

• Plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification
• Redundant or duplicate publication
• Serious methodological errors
• Unethical research or lack of ethical approval
• Authorship manipulation or undisclosed conflicts of interest

Retraction Procedure

  1. Initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief.

  2. Author notification and opportunity to respond.

  3. Consultation with experts or institutions if required.

  4. Final decision by the Editor-in-Chief.

Retraction Notice
A retraction notice will be published and linked to the article, stating the reasons and responsible party. The original article remains accessible but clearly marked as “Retracted.”
