Focus and Scope

Jurnal Intensi focuses on the publication of empirical and theoretical research in psychology that contributes to the understanding, measurement, and application of psychological principles in diverse contexts. The journal emphasizes studies with clear research gaps, sound methodological approaches, and significant implications for theory, practice, or policy.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  Clinical Psychology: mental health, psychological well-being, assessment, psychotherapy, counseling, digital mental health, technology-assisted psychological services, and intervention studies.

  Educational Psychology: learning processes, motivation, assessment, student development, teacher psychology, culturally responsive education and educational interventions.

  Industrial and Organizational Psychology: work behavior, leadership, job performance, employee well-being, organizational culture, remote work, digital workplaces and human resource development.

  Developmental Psychology: psychological development across the lifespan, including childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging.

  Social Psychology: social behavior, interpersonal relationships, group dynamics, attitudes, identity, social issues, online behavior, social media use, and cultural or indigenous identity

  Psychometrics: test development, adaptation, validation, reliability analysis, measurement models, digital assessment tools, culturally sensitive assessment and advanced statistical techniques in psychological assessment.

Jurnal Intensi accepts manuscripts employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research designs, including survey research, experimental studies, longitudinal designs, and qualitative analyses. The journal encourages submissions that integrate theory and practice and address contemporary psychological issues relevant to local, national, and international contexts.
