Article Processing Charge (APC)

To support the sustainability of editorial activities, manuscript production, and publishing system maintenance, the editorial board hereby establishes the Article Processing Charges (APC) for all manuscripts that have been accepted for publication. Starting from Volume 26 No 1 (2024), Insight: Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi now incurs an Article Processing Charge (APC). The applicable fees are as follows:

1. Domestic Authors (Indonesia)

APC for authors affiliated with institutions in Indonesia:
IDR 1,500,000 (One Million Five Hundred Thousand Rupiah)

2. International Authors (Non-Indonesia)

APC for authors outside Indonesia:
150 USD (One Hundred Fifty US Dollars)

If the manuscript has been reviewed and declared eligible for publication by Insight: Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi, then the authors are required to pay the process cost.

Fee Waivers Policy

As part of our commitment to promoting equitable access to scholarly publishing and supporting global knowledge dissemination, the journal implements a Fee Waiver Policy for authors who may experience financial constraints in the publication process. This policy is designed to ensure that high-quality research from diverse regions—particularly from developing countries—can be published without barriers related to publication fees. The waiver is provided to uphold fairness, inclusivity, and the advancement of scientific communication across all economic contexts.

Waiver Eligibility Criteria

Authors who meet the following criteria are eligible for a full waiver of the Article Processing Charge (APC):

Authors affiliated with institutions from Lower–Middle Income Countries (LMICs), as classified by the World Bank.

Examples of such countries include (but are not limited to): Bangladesh, Nepal, Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Cambodia, Myanmar, Uganda, Pakistan, and other countries that share the same income classification.

Waiver Provision

Authors from eligible developing countries (LMICs) are exempted from APC (free of charge).

This waiver applies regardless of the author’s residence status, provided their institutional affiliation is recognized as being in an eligible country.

The decision to grant a waiver is automatic based on affiliation and does not require additional documentation from the author.
