HUBUNGAN STRES INFERTILITAS DENGAN KESEPIAN PADA WANITA INFERTIL DI BALI

Kesepian merupakan salah satu fenomena kehidupan yang dapat dialami oleh siapa saja dan oleh seluruh kalangan usia. Kesepian dapat muncul ketika seseorang menghakimi dirinya apabila tidak mendapatkan apa yang diinginkan atau tidak dapat menjadi sosok individu yang diinginkannya. Hal ini dapat memunculkan perasaan kegagalan dalam diri seseorang yang salah satunya diakibatkan karena belum hadirnya seorang anak dalam pernikahan pasangan suami istri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stres infertilitas dengan kesepian pada wanita infertill di Bali. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 119 orang wanita yang telah menikah selama (minimal) satu tahun, tidak menggunakan alat kontrasepsi, belum memiliki keturunan, dan bertempat tinggal di Bali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi The Copenhagen Multi-centre Psychosocial Infertility Fertility Problem Stress Scales (COMPI FPSS) dan UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 yang masing-masing telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan telah melalui proses uji kesahihan dan keajegan. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan statistika non-parametrik dan diperoleh hasil bahwa r hitung > r tabel (0.336 > 0.05) yang juga menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi stres infertilitas yang dimiliki wanita infertil, semakin tinggi pula kesepian yang dirasakannya dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Berdasarkan nilai r hitung sebesar 0.366, stres infertilitas dan kesepian telah ditemukan memiliki tingkat hubungan yang lemah karena terdapat faktor-faktor lain diluar stres infertilitas yang dapat menyebabkan munculnya perasaan kesepian. Selain itu, antara kategori skor stres infertilitas dan kategori skor kesepian dengan kategori usia kronologis dan kategori usia pernikahan partisipan juga ditemukan tidak memiliki hubungan.
