About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Literasi: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is a peer-review journal published by Department of Communication Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. We welcome all contributions on the following topics:
- Journalism
- Public RelationsÂ
- Corporate communication
- Broadcasting
- Feature and documentary
- Komunikasi Massa
- Komunikasi Persuasif
- Komunikasi Politik
- Pemasaran Sosial
The article that uses critical theories/perspectives and encourages the spirit of empowerment would be more preferred.
Peer Review Process
Every article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewer using single blind review method. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.
Publication Frequency
The journal publishes two issues in one volume a year. The issues are expected to be published in April and October of each year.
