This research aims to determine the effect of Azolla microphylla in ration on the meat chemical quality of rabbit. This research was carried out from 11 March to 10 June 2024 in Jagalan RT 02 RW 27 Sukoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Chemical quality tests were carried out at the Animal Nutrition and Animal Products Technology Laboratory at Mercu Buana University, Yogyakarta. This research used 24 male Hyla rabbits aged two months or weaned at the start of the research and 12 samples used for meat chemical quality research. The method in this study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a one way pattern, 4 treatments, namely (P1 0%, P2 5% P3 10%, and P4 15%, each treatment was repeated 3 times and each replication consisted of 2 rabbits . The variables observed were water content test, protein content test, fat content test, and ash content test. Data obtained from the research results were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), if there were real differences, it was continued with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that for treatment P1, P2, P3, and P4 treatments on water content were PI 75.92%, P2 75.76%, P3 75.03. %, P4 75.76%, protein content; P1 20.54%, P2 22.70%, P3
22.84%, P4 19.86%, Ash content, PI 1.54%, P2 1.41%, P3 1.47%, P4 1.49%, Fat Content: PI 0.14%, P2 0.14%, P3 0.18%, P4 0.20%. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the provision of Azolla microphylla meal in the ration on the chemical quality of rabbit meat, namely water, protein and fat content, was non- significant, while the ash content was significant. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the addition of Azolla microphylla up to a level of 15% does not affect the chemical quality of rabbit meat.
