Academic self-confidence is a crucial factor for student success, but it often poses a challenge, especially when it comes to presentations and classroom interactions. This study aims to enhance students' academic self-confidence through a psychoeducational intervention based on the growth mindset and cognitive restructuring approaches. The intervention was conducted over one day through eight structured sessions involving 11 Communication Science students in their sixth semester or higher at Mercu Buana University in Yogyakarta. The methods used included lectures, group discussions, simulations, role-plays, and reflections, with effectiveness measured through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the study showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of cognitive distortions, the application of the growth mindset, and their courage in facing academic challenges. Therefore, this programme is recommended as one model for developing non-cognitive skills in higher education settings
