Self-compassion pada dewasa muda: Validasi faktorial Skala Self-Compassion (SSC)
Abstract
Penelitian terkait self-compassion telah mencuri perhatian banyak peneliti dan terus meningkat karena
hubungannya yang kuat dengan kesehatan mental. Skala self-compassion juga telah dikembangkan di
banyak negara sebagai instrumen untuk menilai sifat self-compassion pada diri seorang individu. Di
Indonesia sendiri masih jarang dilakukan penelitian yang betujuan mengembangkan skala self-compassion.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat instrumen berupa Skala Self-Compassion (SSC). Seratus
tujuh puluh enam orang berusia dewasa muda menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini dan menyelesaikan
kuesioner elektronik yang berisi 36 aitem SSC. Peneliti melakukan analisis reliabilitas untuk mengevaluasi
konsistensi internal dan analisis faktor untuk mengevaluasi struktur faktorial dari skor SSC. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh 30 aitem dengan daya beda antara 0,328 sampai 0,748. Konsistensi internal
dari SSC yakni 0,929 dengan error standar pengukuran 0,164 yang mengindikasikan bahwa SSC dapat
dikatakan reliabel dan akurat. Hasil analisis faktor eksploratori untuk model tiga faktor yang dibentuk
berdasarkan tiga komponen yakni self-kindness, common humanity, dan mindfulness menunjukkan
kecocokan yang baik (fit) dengan KMO MSA = 0,897; TLI = 0,870, dan RMSEA = 0,0586 dengan 90%
confidence interval dari 0,0499 sampai 0,0679.
