Terapi bermain dalam meningkatkan self-esteem pada anak korban kekerasan seksual

Abstract

Kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak marak terjadi. Meningkatnya jumlah korban kekerasan seksual
tidak hanya dari kalangan remaja hingga dewasa, namun anak-anak juga merupakan sasaran mudah bagi
pelaku kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan intervensi psikologis kepada anak
korban kekerasan seksual serta mengetahui efektifikas terapi bermain dalam meningkatkan kemampuan
self-esteem pada diri anak korban kekerasan seksual. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten X, Provinsi Riau.
Subjek penelitian adalah anak korban kekerasan seksual yang berusia 12-16 tahun. Penelitian ini melibatkan
7 orang subjek. Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Instrumen
yang digunakan adalah Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES). Terapi bermain dilakukan sebanyak 4 sesi
kepada anak korban kekerasan seksual. Penelitian menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test dalam
membandingkan hasil pre-test dan hasil post-test. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa pre-test dan post-
test memiliki nilai signifikan yaitu 0,01 p > 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan ada perbedaan kemampuan self-
esteem sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan. Terapi bermain dikatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan
kemampuan self-esteem anak korban kekerasan seksual.
