PERAN AYAH MENJADI SEBUAH TIMBANGAN: LITERATURE REVIEW WORK FAMILY BALANCE PADA AYAH YANG BEKERJA DI ERA SOCIETY 5.0

Abstract

Adanya kemajuan teknologi di era Society 5.0 yang berpusat pada manusia tentu akan memberikan pengaruh pada seorang dalam menerapkan work family balance. Berbagai penelitian work family balance mengarahkan keseimbangan peran ibu dalam pekerjaan dan keluarga, namun jarang membahas work family balance pada ayah yang bekerja. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan adanya tantangan seorang ayah untuk mencoba menerapkan work family balance. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. Hasil review beberapa penelitian yang menunjukkan tantangan work family balance pada ayah yang bekerja yaitu: 1.) hambatan kontektual yaitu peran ayah yang dianggap oleh masyarakat sebagai seorang yang bekerja dan menafkahi keluarga bukan untuk pengasuhan pada anak; 2.) hambatan Organisasi terkait dengan fleksibelitas waktu, dukungan manajemen, dukungan teman terhadap work family balance; serta 3). hambatan internalisasi yaitu peran ayah dalam keluarga yang mengalami kesulitan untuk dilakukan oleh seorang ayah yang bekerja. Manfaat dari penulisan artikel ini adalah memberikan gambaran work family balance pada ayah di era Society 5.0.
