The Effect of Planting Distance and Plant Age on Snake Fruit Cultivar Pondoh Production in Turi, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

Kapanewon Turi is known as one of the centers of salak pondoh production in Sleman Regency. This study aims to analyze the effect of planting distance and plant age on salak pondoh production in Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency. The research was conducted from May to November 2025. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Data were collected using a random sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 22. This study employed a quantitative research method (survey). The data analysis methods used were multiple linear regression analysis, F-test (simultaneous), t-test (partial), and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that planting distance and plant age simultaneously had no significant effect on salak pondoh production in Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency. Partially, planting distance had no significant effect on salak pondoh production in Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency. Likewise, plant age partially had no significant effect on salak pondoh production in Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency. The coefficient of determination indicated that the independent variables were able to explain 1.9% of the variation in the dependent variable.
