Orchids are flowering plants with the most species members. Its species are widely distributed from the wet tropics to the circumpolar region, although most of its members are found in the tropics. The Teaching Factory Nursery Rembangan of Jember State Polytechnic, located in the highlands of Rembangan, Jember, has ornamental plants such as chrysanthemums, orchids and hydroponic vegetables. Each orchid has different characteristics and different growing requirements, therefore before cultivating orchids, it is necessary to know the morphology and growing requirements of orchid plants first. Identification was carried out by recording the types of orchids found in the Teaching Factory Nursery Rembangan State Polytechnic of Jember to then analyze the type of leaves, stem growth type, flowers and light requirements. The identification results can be used as a guideline to distinguish the types of orchids and the growing conditions of each type.
