Effect of Kepok Banana Peel Liquid Organic Fertilizer Dosage on the Growth of Rose Plants

This research was conducted from October 2022 to December 2022. The research was carried out in the education and research garden (KP2) of Instiper, Maguwoharjo Village, Depok District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The altitude of the research area is 118 meters above sea level. The purpose of this study was to determine the right dosage of liquid organic fertilizer made from banana peels for the growth of rose plants. This study used a single factor treatment consisting of 4 treatments arranged in the field using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. The treatment tested was the administration of liquid organic fertilizer from banana peel kepok doses of 200 ml/liter of water, 400 ml/liter of water, and 600 ml/liter of water. Parameters observed were number of shoots, number of leaves, shoot length and time of flower appearance. The results showed that the application of kepok banana peel liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of shoots, the number of leaves, and the time of flower appearance. The application of liquid organic fertilizer from kepok banana peels at a dose of 400 ml/liter of water per treatment gave the highest yield for the growth of rose plants.
