Mindful parenting dan regulasi emosi pada Ibu Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS): Peran moderasi usia

Ibu bekerja sebagai Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) menghadapi berbagai tuntutan, seperti tanggung jawab pekerjaan dan pengasuhan, yang dapat memengaruhi regulasi emosi mereka. Regulasi emosi yang buruk dapat berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologis, menghambat kemampuan ibu untuk menghadapi tekanan, dan menurunkan kinerja. Mindful parenting, pendekatan pengasuhan berbasis kesadaran penuh, memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan regulasi emosi dan kesejahteraan ibu. Meskipun beberapa penelitian sebelumnya telah mengeksplorasi hubungan mindful parenting dan regulasi emosi, kajian tentang peran usia sebagai moderator dalam hubungan ini, terutama pada ibu bekerja sebagai PNS, masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran moderasi usia dalam hubungan antara mindful parenting dan regulasi emosi pada ibu bekerja sebagai PNS, sehingga memberikan kebaruan dalam konteks populasi spesifik dan variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan secara online menggunakan Google Form, yang disebarkan melalui media sosial kepada 88 ibu bekerja sebagai PNS yang memiliki anak minimal satu orang dan bekerja selama minimal satu tahun. Partisipan mengisi skala regulasi emosi, skala mindful parenting, dan kuesioner demografis setelah memberikan informed consent secara daring. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji moderasi menggunakan software Jamovi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mindful parenting berhubungan positif signifikan dengan regulasi emosi. Usia juga berhubungan positif dengan regulasi emosi, tetapi interaksi mindful parenting dan usia tidak signifikan, sehingga usia bukanlah moderator dalam hubungan ini. Namun, analisis simple slope menunjukkan bahwa mindful parenting memiliki pengaruh lebih kuat terhadap regulasi emosi pada ibu dengan usia yang lebih tua. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya mindful parenting dalam mendukung regulasi emosi ibu bekerja, khususnya pada kelompok usia tertentu. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis untuk pengembangan program peningkatan mindful parenting bagi ibu bekerja sebagai PNS.
