HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONFLIK PEKERJAAN-KELUARGA DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA PADA POLISI WANITA DI POLRES KULON PROGO

Abstract


Work - family conflict arises because of the imbalance between the role of a worker with a role as a member of the family . Policewomen are not satisfied in any time away from work more often a task , ask leave even ditching thus affecting its performance . This study aims to determine the relationship between work - family conflict with job satisfaction there is a police woman . Hypotheses to be proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between work - family conflict with job satisfaction in police woman . Subjects in this study were female police officers in the Police Kulon Progo Yogyakarta , as many as 32 people . Methods of data collection in this study using the scale of work - family conflict and job satisfaction scale . This research analysis methods of analysis using Pearson product moment . The results of the analysis of data obtained correlation coefficient ( rxy ) of -0.308 with a significance level ( p < 0.05 ) , this means that the higher the work - family conflict , the lower the job satisfaction in women police ; conversely the lower the family - work conflict , the more high job satisfaction in female officers . Thus the hypothesis of this study is acceptable . Work - family conflict variables in this study has the effective contribution of 9.5 % to the job satisfaction of female police officers at the police station in Kulon Progo .
