LITERASI ONLINE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN IBU DARI ANAK AUTIS

Abstract

Autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan pervasif yang dapat menimbulkan tekanan yang berat bagi orangtua. Jika orangtua tidak memiliki pengetahuan tentang anak autis, orangtua cenderung memiliki penerimaan yang rendah terhadap anak. Internet dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media literasi yang menyediakan informasi dan pengetahuan yang beragam, mudah, murah, dan cepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi literasi dengan dukungan internet dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu yang memiliki anak autis. Subjek penelitian adalah 3 orang ibu yang memiliki anak usia 3-8 tahun yang telah didiagnosis autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain metode eksperimen kasus tunggal dengan menerapkan model literasi kesehatan dengan dukungan internet. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi psikologis subjek sebelum dan sesudah intervensi adalah Skala Pengetahuan Autis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode visual inspection dan analisis deskriptif. Nilai mean antara fase baseline dengan fase intervensi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan subjek. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi online dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan autis.
