ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN KELAYAKAN USAHA PETERNAK KAMBING PERANAKAN ETAWAH DI KECAMATAN GIRIMULYO KABUPATEN KULONPROGO

Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate the income and feasibility of etawah cross farming in Girimulyo, Kulonprogo regency. Location was determined by purposive on 3 villages and such as a combination of the high of land and population of Etawah cross. Samples were taken by proportional random sampling 10% of farmers. There were 51 farmers of 3 villages : Jatimulyo 37 respondent, Giripurwo 10 respondents, and Pendoworejo 4 respondents. The characteristics of respondents were the everage 48,78 years old, 50,99% on elementary school, 78,51% farmer as main job, experienced 25,05 years, 8 mature goat owned or 1,18 AU. The data analysis showed that the average income was Rp. 4.486.443,31 per year. This farming was feasible to be raised with RCR value 1,28 and rentability value 28,03%. The rentability was higher than Bank BRI rate in Girimulyo sub district. Break Event Point (BEP) Rp. 787.822,60 or 0,17 AU, about 1 mature goats. It was concluded that Etawah cross farming was profitable and feasible to be raised.
